Sean "Diddy" Combs, an influential figure in the music industry, has faced multiple allegations of sexual assault and abuse over the years.

In November 2023, his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, accused him of rape and abuse during their relationship, including physical violence and coercion. Although Diddy denied these allegations, he settled the lawsuit with her soon after the filing.

In the wake of Ventura's lawsuit, several other women came forward with similar claims. One woman, Joi Dickerson-Neal, accused Diddy of drugging and raping her in 1991, and another anonymous accuser alleged that Diddy and singer Aaron Hall sexually assaulted her and a friend in the early 1990s. Additionally, a December 2023 lawsuit accused Diddy, along with his Bad Boy Entertainment partner Harve Pierre, of sex trafficking and gang rape involving a 17-year-old girl in 2003.

Diddy has consistently denied all allegations, labeling them as fabrications or attempts to exploit legal loopholes like New York's Adult Survivors Act, which allows for the filing of older sexual assault claims. These allegations have also impacted his business ventures, leading him to step down temporarily as chairman of the Revolt TV network.

This week, Combs was indicted in the Southern District of New York on three counts: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and faces up to life in prison if convicted.
