BLACK TWITTER: A PEOPLE'S HISTORY ON HULU

Are we watching Black Twitter: A People's History on Hulu? Has anyone seen it yet? I watched all three episodes and it left me wondering ....



Black Twitter refers to a subculture on the Twitter social media platform that focuses on issues, culture, and conversations significant to the Black community. It is not an official part of Twitter but rather a dynamic, informal network of Black users who engage in discussions and share content related to various topics, from entertainment and politics to social justice and everyday life. Black Twitter significantly impacts popular culture, often setting trends, creating viral hashtags, and influencing mainstream media.



Hashtags such as #BlackLivesMatter, #OscarsSoWhite, #IfTheyGunnedMeDown, and #BlackGirlMagic have gained widespread attention and mobilized discussions on social justice, racism, and representation.
