2025 HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME HONOREES

They consider the nominee's professional achievements, longevity in the entertainment industry, and community contributions. Only a limited number of stars are awarded yearly, typically 20-30. The committee's decision is final.

Receiving a star has a significant financial aspect. As of 2024, the price is approximately $75,000, which covers creating and installing the star and maintaining the Walk of Fame. The nominating party, a fan club, a film studio, a record company, or sometimes the celebrities themselves usually pay this fee. The star unveiling is a public ceremony attended by the celebrity, their fans, and often other notable figures. It's a major media event, attracting significant press coverage and fanfare.

The star is embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California.
