SEXYY RED FOR PRESIDENT!!!
Female Rappers have dominated the Hip Hop Industry since the start of the Pandemic, but only one artist had the Hip Hop Industry clutching its pearls when she emerged Sexyy Red! The Mid-West native had the music industry gasping with her controversial music, leaving critics wondering if this is the new generation of Hip Hop or the end of Hip Hop altogether. Right now, Sexyy Red has the Midas touch.

Sexyy Red, born Janae Nierah Wherry, grew up in Saint Louis, MO. She earned the name "Red" in middle school because of her firey red hair, and the "Sexyy" just fit. She found her way into the music industry when she discovered her Ex was cheating on her. She turned her pain into passion and made a diss track about him, his new girl, and his new girl's friends. She was definitely on the next level of petty.
Sexyy Red, aka the "Female Gucci Mane," music is known for its raunchy and sexually explicit lyrics. Sexyy Red has managed to gain the attention of artists such as Travis Scott, Drake, and Summer Walker, and her chart-topping songs like "Pound Town," "Pound Town Remix" featuring Nicki Minaj, "SkeeYee," "Shake Yo Dreads," and the new sensation "Rich Baby Daddy," with Drake, Sexyy Red can't miss. Who knows? Your favorite Rapper might be a fan.

Sexyy Red successfully launched her beauty line with lip gloss inspired by her music. Now all the Hood Hotties can experience Pound Town and purchase "Coochie Juice," "Booty-Hole Brown," "Coochie Pink," Sex On My Period," "Gonorrhea," "Yellow Discharge," and "Nut," lip gloss. Sexyy Red has reached Boss-level status as an entrepreneur.
Sexyy Red is unapologetically herself, which seems to be a hard pill for other artists and listeners to digest. Her content, while shocking, is comparable to Lil Kim's in the 90's. She has been accused of being an industry plant and destroying the image of all Black women. Say what you want, it's not stopping her. Every generation seems to have a Sexyy Red. Are we, the consumers, being unrealistic? Are we the new "Old Heads?" Let me know how you feel in the comments below.
