NEW MUSIC FROM ANDRE 3000!!!
Andre 3000, one half of the celebrated Hip Hop duo Outkast, releases his solo project, an entirely instrumental album, ' New Blue Sun.' While Three Stacks has made a few appearances on other artists' projects, he has remained away from the public eye.
In a 2019 interview with BET, the Rapper opens up about his struggles with social anxiety and hypersensitivity disorder, which could account for his disappearance from music. But the esteemed Rapper turned Flautist has been inspired to create new music, calling for him to use another instrument other than his voice.
Andre 3000's listening party comprised an audience of two major heavy hitters in the industry, Tyler The Creator and Frank Ocean, who may or may not had an input in the album's outcome. 'New Blue Sun' is his first solo studio project in 17 years and is considered an instrumental jazz album made of multiple woodwind instruments. According to Andre 3000, this is the direction the wind blew him.
